April 28, 2018 - Pearson Jr. Follows Lucas Oil Series to Land of Lincoln
1Friday night brought Earl Pearson Jr. to Tri-City Speedway (Granite City, Illinois) for the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series (LOLMDS) sanctioned Busch 50. In a field of 34 Super Late Models, Pearson Jr. fell one spot short of a transfer position in his heat with a 5th place finish. Transferring into the B-Main, Earl landed a 2nd place spot behind Hudson O’Neal locking him into the 19th-starting position for the feature. The following night at Macon Speedway (Macon, Illinois) for the St. Louis U-Pic-A-Part 100, Pearson Jr. secured his spot into the $12,000-to-win A-Main with a 5th place finish in his heat. Rolling off 13th, Earl dropped two spots in the 100-lap affair logging a 15th place outing.

April 22, 2018 - Podium Finish With LOLMDS at Port Royal Speedway
With Mother Nature wiping out Friday’s opener at Sharon Speedway (Sharon, Ohio), Earl Pearson Jr. headed to Hagerstown Speedway (Hagerstown, Maryland) on Saturday evening for the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series (LOLMDS) sanctioned Stanley Schetrompf Classic. With 38 cars registered in for action, Pearson Jr. logged a 7th place finish in his heat transferring him into the B-Main. Needing to place in the Top-3, Earl landed a 2nd place finish behind Don O’Neal positioning him 20th on the starting grid for the opening night feature. Coming one spot shy of a Top-5 finish, Earl Pearson Jr. streaked through the field 14 spots reeling in a 6th place finish.

1On Saturday night at Port Royal Speedway (Port Royal, Pennsylvania), Earl locked his spot into the $10,000-to-win finale with a 3rd place finish in his heat. Starting in 10th, Pearson Jr. gained seven spots in the 50-lap affair to place 3rd behind Scott Bloomquist and Josh Richards with Tim McCreadie and Darrell Lanigan completing the Top-5 finishers. April 13, 2018 - Pearson Jr. Attends Buckeye Spring 50 at Atomic
Earl Pearson Jr. traveled to Atomic Speedway (Chillicothe, Ohio) on Friday evening for the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series sanctioned Buckeye Spring 50. In a field of 30 cars, Earl recorded the fastest time overall in his qualifying group before placing 2nd in his heat race behind Don O’Neal. Earning the 5th-starting position for the $12,000-to-win A-Main, Earl was running in 8th when he got spun out by another competitor. He salvaged a 23rd place outing in the final laps.

Saturday night’s Indiana Icebreaker at Brownstown Speedway (Brownstown, Indiana) was ousted by Mother Nature.
