May 26, 2018 - 13th Place Finish in Show-Me 100 at Lucas Oil Speedway
Kicking off the tripleheader with the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series, Earl Pearson Jr. traveled to Lucas Oil Speedway (Wheatland, Missouri) on Thursday evening for the Cowboy Classic. With a stout field of 65 Super Late Models registered in for action, Earl came up one spot shy of a transfer position in his heat with a 4th place finish. Needing to place in the Top 2 in his B-Main to make the opening night feature, Pearson Jr. fell one spot short with a 3rd place outing.

Wrapping up the Show-Me 100 weekend on Saturday, Earl rolled off on the front row of his B-Main for one final shot at the $30,000-to-win finale. Transferring the Top-2, Pearson Jr. streaked to a 15-lap consolation victory positioning him 20th on the starting grid for the feature. Coming three spots shy of a Top-10 finish, Earl Pearson Jr. improved seven positions in the 100-lapper to place 13th.

May 19, 2018 - Earl Pearson Jr. Scores Second Win of the Season at 141 Speedway; Sits in Second in Lucas Oil Standings
1 Earl Pearson Jr. made the trek to 141 Speedway (Maribel, Wisconsin) on Friday evening kicking off the three-day stretch with the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series (LOLMDS). In a field of 25 Super Late Models, Earl locked his spot into the opening night feature with a 3rd place finish in his heat. Earning the 7th-starting position, Pearson Jr. was battling for a podium finish in the early stages until a lap-26 restart when Earl passed Hudson O'Neal for second and had his eyes set on race-leader Bobby Pierce. Overtaking Pierce on lap 44, Earl Pearson Jr. held the top spot for the final six circuits to capture his second win of the season and a $12,000 payday. The following night at Deer Creek Speedway (Spring Valley, Minnesota) for the NAPA Auto Parts North Star Nationals, Earl locked his spot into the $12,000-to-win A-Main with a 10-lap heat race win. Starting in 4th, Pearson slipped back to a 12th place outing in the 50-lap affair.

Sunday night’s Go-50 at I-80 Speedway (Greenwood, Nebraska) was postponed to July 19th by Mother Nature.

May 4, 2018 - 5th Place Finish in Toyota Knoxville 50
1 On Friday evening Earl Pearson Jr. followed the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series (LOLMDS) to Tazewell Speedway (Tazewell, Tennessee) for the Toyota Knoxville 50. With 28 Super Late Models registered in for action, Pearson Jr. secured his spot into the opening night feature with a 3rd place finish in his heat race. Saturday’s Ralph Latham Memorial at Florence Speedway (Union, Kentucky) was postponed by Mother Nature.
