October 27, 2018 - Podium Finish in Fall Classic at Whynot Motorsports Park
1 Friday night found Earl Pearson Jr. in action at Whynot Motorsports Park (Meridian, Mississippi) for the 24th annual Coors Light Fall Classic. With 43 Super Late Models on hand for the two-day event, Pearson Jr. registered the second fastest time in his qualifying group behind Dane Dacus before placing 2nd in his heat behind Neil Baggett. Earning the 6th-starting position for the $15,000-to-win A-Main on Saturday evening, Earl overtook Tyler Erb for the lead on lap 33 until Erb wrestled back the top spot three laps later. Jumping back into the lead on lap 41, Pearson Jr. held the top spot for the next 13 circuits when Erb jumped back into the lead.
