April 26, 2019 - EPJ Tops MLRA Field at Thunderbird Speedway
Friday night saw Earl Pearson Jr. in action at Thunderbird Speedway (Muskogee, Oklahoma) for the Lucas Oil Midwest Late Model Racing Association (MLRA) sanctioned contest. In a field of 12 cars, Pearson Jr. posted a 2nd place finish in his heat behind Mitch McGrath positioning him 3rd on the starting grid for the A-Main. Slipping past Polesitter Will Vaught on the opening lap, Earl led wire-to-wire en route to his second win of the season over Vaught, Payton Looney, Mitch McGrath, and Logan Martin. April 13, 2019 - Top 5 Finish in Atomic Spring 50 at Atomic Speedway
The Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series kicked off the four-day slate on Thursday evening at Atomic Speedway (Chillicothe, Ohio) for the fifth annual Buckeye Spring 50. Coming in 3rd in his heat, Earl Pearson Jr. earned the 10th-starting position for the $12,000-to-win A-Main. Breaking into the Top-5, Earl improved five spots to place 5th behind Jimmy Owens, Brandon Sheppard, Jonathan Davenport, and Tim McCreadie.

After losing Friday’s program at Sharon Speedway (Hartford, Ohio), Pearson Jr. traveled to Hagerstown Speedway (Hagerstown, Maryland) on Saturday for the Stanley Schetrompf Classic. In a field of 37 cars, Earl started the night off with a heat race victory positioning him 4th on the starting grid for the A-Main. With $12,000 on the line, Pearson Jr. dropped two spots in the 50-lapper to place 6th.

Sunday’s LOLMDS finale at Port Royal Speedway (Port Royal, Pennsylvania) fell victim to Mother Nature.

April 6, 2019 - EPJ Bags 5th Place Finish in LOLMDS Action at North Georgia
Friday night saw the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series return to action at 411 Motor Speedway (Seymour, Tennessee) for the Tennessee’s Action Track 50. In a field of 29 cars, Earl Pearson Jr. recorded a 3rd place finish in his heat positioning him 10th on the starting grid for the opening night feature. Holding his spot for all 50-laps, Pearson Jr. posted a 10th place outing.

On Saturday evening at North Georgia Speedway (Chatsworth, Georgia), Pearson Jr. secured his spot into the $12,000-to-win finale with the 4th and final transfer spot in his heat race. Breaking into the Top-5, Earl passed 11 cars in the 50-lap feature to place 5th behind Jonathan Davenport, Don O’Neal, Josh Richards, and Devin Moran. (Heath Lawson photo)
