July 20, 2019 - EPJ Begins Western Swing with Bullet Sportswear Shootout

After Mother Nature rained out Wednesday’s program at Jackson Motorplex (Jackson, Minnesota), Earl followed the LOLMDS to I-80 Speedway (Greenwood, Nebraska) on Thursday for the Malvern Bank Go 50. After coming in 7th in his heat, Pearson Jr. logged a 4th place finish in his B-Main forcing him to rely on a provisional into the show. Rolling off 3rd, Earl improved four spots to place 19th.

On Friday evening for the two-day ninth annual Imperial Tile Silver Dollar Nationals, Pearson Jr. followed up a heat race victory in his first round with a 4th place finish in his second attempt. Starting the $53,000-to-win finale in 11th on Saturday night, Earl Pearson Jr. dropped six spots in the 100-lap affair logging a 17th place outing.

July 14, 2019 - Pearson Jr. Records a Trio of Top 5 Finishes
Earl Pearson Jr. followed the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series (LOLMDS) to Tri-City Speedway (Granite City, Illinois) on Thursday evening kicking off the four-day weekend. With 31 cars on hand for the Hoker Trucking Best in the Business 50, Earl locked his spot into the opening night feature with a heat race victory. Starting in 4th, Pearson Jr. dropped one spot registering a 5th place finish behind Tyler Erb, Mike Marlar, Tim McCreadie, and Jimmy Owens.

On Friday night for the NAPA Know How 50, Pearson Jr. recorded a 4th place finish in his heat which positioned him 15th on the starting grid for the A-Main. Wheeling his way into a podium spot, Earl passed 12 cars in the 50-lapper reeling in a runner-up finish behind Jimmy Owens with Josh Richards, Stormy Scott, and Tim McCreadie rounding out the Top-5. The following night brought 39 cars to Lucas Oil Speedway (Wheatland, Missouri) for the CMH Diamond Nationals opener which was co-sanctioned with the Lucas Oil MLRA. Streaking to a 10-lap heat race win, Earl earned the 2nd-starting position for the A-Main. With $15,000 on the line, Earl held his spot for all 60-laps to place 2nd behind Jimmy Owens with Mike Marlar, Scott Bloomquist, and Jonathan Davenport trailing them to the checkers.

Wrapping up the four-day stint on Sunday, Pearson Jr. came in 7th in his heat before placing 2nd in his B-Main behind Josh Richards. Passing seven cars in the 60-lap feature, Earl Pearson Jr. notched a 12th place finish.

July 5, 2019 - EPJ Follows Lucas Oil Series Over Independence Day Weekend
After Mother Nature wiped out Wednesday’s opener at Muskingum County Speedway (Zanesville, Ohio), Earl Pearson Jr. and the Black Diamond Race Cars teamed traveled to Portsmouth Raceway Park (Portsmouth, Ohio) on Thursday. In a field of 29 Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series entries, Pearson Jr. failed to complete a lap in both his heat and B-Main. Using a provisional for the feature, Earl passed eight cars to place 16th.

On Friday night at Tyler County Speedway (Middlebourne, West Virginia) for the Topless 50, Earl came in 6th in his heat before placing 5th in his B-Main. Relying on a provisional into the $12,000-to-win A-Main, Pearson Jr. jumped up two spots logging a 21st place outing.

Saturday’s LOLMDS finale at Mansfield Motor Speedway (Mansfield, Ohio) fell victim to Mother Nature.
