January 19, 2020 - Top 10 Finish in Fifth Round of Wild West Shootout
For the third round of the Wild West Shootout on Wednesday evening at FK Rod Ends Arizona Speedway (Queen Creek, Arizona), Pearson Jr. got slammed into by another car in his heat that forced him pitside for the remainder of the evening. Other than a sore left-shoulder, Earl was able to climb out uninjured.

Returning to action on Friday evening, Earl grabbed the 4th and final transfer position in his heat which positioned him 14th on the starting grid for the A-Main. With $5,000 on the line, Pearson Jr. was an early retiree from the 30-lapper on lap 21.

Wrapping up the 14th annual Wild West Shootout on Sunday, Earl locked his spot into the $15,000-to-win finale with a 2nd place finish in his heat behind Brandon Sheppard. Falling three spots shy of a Top-10 finish in the 50-lap affair, Pearson Jr. slipped back to a 13th place outing.

January 12, 2020 - Pearson Jr. Begins Wild West Shootout in Arizona
Saturday night saw Earl Pearson Jr. return to action at FK Rod Ends Arizona Speedway (Queen Creek, Arizona) for the 14th annual Wild West Shootout. In a field of 46 Super Late Models, Pearson Jr. fell one spot short of a transfer position in his heat with a 4th place finish. Streaking to a 12-lap consolation victory, Earl earned the 19th-starting position for the opening night feature. Gaining three spots in the 30-lap affair, Earl Pearson Jr. recorded a 15th place finish.

The following night, Earl laid down the fastest lap in his time trial group before placing 2nd in his heat behind Bobby Pierce. Starting the $5,000-to-win A-Main in eighth, Pearson Jr. slipped back to an 18th place outing in the 40-lapper.

January 5, 2020 - Top 10 Finish in Round Two of Battle at the Border
Kicking off the 2020 season, Earl Pearson Jr. and the Black Diamond Race Cars team invaded Vado Speedway Park (Vado, New Mexico) on Friday evening for the inaugural Battle at the Border. Drawing 42 World of Outlaws Morton Buildings Late Model Series entries for the three-day event, Pearson Jr. secured his spot into the $5,000-to-win A-Main with the 4th and final transfer spot in his heat race. Starting in 14th, Earl dropped four spots in the 30-lapper to place 18th.

For the final round of the inaugural Battle at the Border on Sunday, Pearson Jr. posted an 8th place finish in his heat transferring him into the B-Main for one last shot at the $15,000-to-win finale. Needing to place 3rd or better, Earl Pearson Jr. logged a 5th place outing.
