May 27, 2020 - Earl Pearson Jr. Lands Top 10 Finish at East Bay Raceway Park
Earl Pearson Jr. followed the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series (LOLMDS) to East Bay Raceway Park (Tampa, Fla.) on Monday afternoon for the final three events of the Reopening Tour. Drawing 35 cars for the Geico East Bay Nationals, Pearson Jr. came one spot short of a transfer position in his heat with a fifth place finish. Posting a runner-up spot in his B-Main behind Ross Robinson, Earl locked into the 20th-starting position for the A-Main. With $7,000 on the line, Earl Pearson Jr. jumped up four spots in the 40-lapper to place 16th.

Closing out the Geico East Bay Nationals on Wednesday night, Pearson Jr. grabbed the fourth and final transfer spot in his heat, which positioned him 16th on the starting grid for the $7,000-to-win finale. Improving three spots, Earl scored a 13th place outing.

May 21, 2020 - 14th Place Finish in Night Two of Golden Isles Nationals
After more than a two-month hiatus due to the ongoing Coronavirus (Covid-19) pandemic, Earl Pearson Jr. and the Black Diamond Race Cars team traveled to Golden Isles Speedway (Brunswick, Ga.) on Tuesday night to kick off the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series (LOLMDS) Reopening Tour. With 43 cars on hand for the Optima Batteries Golden Isles Nationals, Pearson Jr. recorded the 15th fastest time in his qualifying group before placing seventh in his heat. Needing a third place finish or better in his B-Main to make the opening night feature, Earl fell one spot short with a fourth place finish. Earning a provisional into the show, Pearson Jr. gained five positions to place 22nd.

For the final round of the Golden Isles Nationals on Thursday, Pearson Jr. came in eighth fastest in his group but a fifth place finish in his heat transferred him into the B-Main. Recording a second place finish behind Shane Clanton, Earl locked into the 20th-starting position for the finale. With $7,000 on the line, Earl Pearson Jr. jumped up five spots in the 40-lapper to register a 15th place outing.
