September 26, 2020 - Pair of Top-5 finishes in Jackson 100 weekend at Brownstown
Earl Pearson Jr. was one of 59 Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series (LOLMDS) registered in for action on Friday night at Brownstown Speedway (Brownstown, Ind.) for the Night Before the Jackson. Following the 12th fastest time in his qualifying group, Pearson Jr. marched forward three spots in his heat race to pick up the 10-lap victory. Starting the $10,000-to-win A-Main in sixth, Earl jumped up three spots in the 40-lapper to finish third behind Josh Richards and Ricky Thornton Jr. with Jonathan Davenport and Zack Dohm rounding out the Top-5. The following night for the Jackson 100, Earl posted a runner-up finish in his heat behind Zack Dohm, which positioned him 12th on the starting grid for the main event. With $15,000 on the line, Pearson Jr. passed seven cars in the 100-lapper to place fifth behind Tim McCreadie, Jonathan Davenport, Tanner English, and Zack Dohm.

September 19, 2020 - Pearson Jr scores 14th place finish in I-80 Nationals finale
Thursday night found Earl Pearson Jr. in action at I-80 Speedway (Greenwood, Neb.) for the event replacing the Knoxville Nationals due to the Covid-19 pandemic. Drawing 46 Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series (LOLMDS) for the I-80 Nationals, Pearson Jr. timed in seventh fastest in his qualifying group before placing eighth in his heat. Needing a third place finish or better in his B-Main to make the opening night preliminary feature, Tad was squeezed into the wall by another competitor while running in a transfer spot that brought an immediate end to his night.

On Friday evening for another $7,000-to-win preliminary feature, Earl posted a seventh place finish in his heat, transferring him into the B-Main. Locking the Top 3 into the show, Pearson Jr. logged a fifth place outing.

Earning the seventh-starting position for his B-Main on Saturday night based off his results on Thursday and Friday, Pearson Jr. edged his way into the $30,000-to-win I-80 Nationals with the fourth and final transfer spot. September 12, 2020 - EPJ invited to Intercontinental Classic at Eldora Speedway
With the 50th annual World 100 getting postponed to 2021, Earl Pearson Jr. was one of 48 Late Models invited to Eldora Speedway (Rossburg, Ohio) on Thursday night to take part in the Intercontinental Classic. Holding his spot for all 10 laps of his heat, Pearson Jr. logged a ninth place finish, transferring him into the B-Main for another shot at the opening night feature. Locking in the Top 3, Earl recorded a 10th place outing.

With preliminary results from Thursday and Friday setting the grid for the heat races on Saturday, Pearson Jr. gained six spots in his heat race to come home fifth. Starting on the pole of his B-Main for one final shot at the $50,000-to-win Intercontinental Classic, Earl was an early retiree from the 15-lapper on the sixth lap.

September 5, 2020 - 14th place finish in Bob Miller Memorial at Portsmouth
Earl Pearson Jr. was one of 30 Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series (LOLMDS) entries on hand at Ponderosa Speedway (Junction City, Ky.) on Friday night for the 16th annual John Bradshaw Memorial. Following a sixth place finish in his heat race, Earl grabbed the sixth and final transfer spot in his B-Main, which positioned him 22nd on the starting gird for the $12,000-to-win A-Main. Clawing forward four spots in the 50-lap affair, Pearson Jr. recorded an 18th place outing.
