Pair of Top-5 finishes in Ronny Adams Memorial at Boothill
On Friday afternoon, Earl Pearson Jr. was one of 34 Comp Cams Super Dirt Series (CCSDS) entries on hand at Boothill Speedway (Greenwood, La.) for the two-day Ronny Adams Memorial. Taking the Top 3 from the heats, Pearson Jr. notched a runner-up finish behind Logan Martin, which positioned him fifth on the starting grid for the opening night feature. With $3,000 on the line, Earl held his spot to register a fifth-place finish, trailing Logan Martin, B.J. Robinson, Billy Moyer, and Kyle Beard across the line. (Scott Burson photo)
For the $7,000-to-win finale on Saturday evening, Earl secured his spot into the main event with a third place finish in his heat. Rolling off 12th, Pearson Jr. marched forward eight spots in the 40-lapper to place fourth, following Cade Dillard, Ashton Winger, and Brian Rickman to the checkers with Logan Martin coming in fifth.
